All opinion submissions must be exclusive to the Banana Republic News.
Please see our content guidelines and requirements for OpEds below:
1. Banana Republic News welcomes humorous, opinion articles that are fact-based and add to an informed debate on topics of relevance or pertaining directly to the South Florida area.
2. Banana Republic News does not sway left or right. Most of the time our journalist mix is part Republican, Democrats, Non-Partisan, but all are anti-communists. Our media focuses on the substance of topics combined with truthful findings. For that reason, we expect all criticism to focus on policy and issues that directly affect the public.
3. Our content is focused on truth and transparency—this means we look for researched analysis of news and broader issues that impact South Florida people. We love everyday people that happen to be great writers or story tellers, some have lived in South Florida for decades whereas others maybe brand new to the “Banana Republic with a lot of monkeys and few bananas.”
